Applications are open: Break into Biotech

A free, hands-on program for New Yorkers ready to start a career in the life sciences. No experience required

Applications are open for the next cohort of Break into Biotech

If you've ever wondered whether a career in the life sciences was possible for you or someone you know, it is.

You don't need a science degree to break into biotech, just curiosity and a willingness to learn by doing. Break Into Biotech is our free, hands-on training program for adult New Yorkers looking to get into NYC's biotech industry, no lab experience required.

You’ll learn alongside a cohort of people making the same leap. Past participants are now working as lab technicians, research associates, and environmental educators. You'll build real bench skills, work on a mentored project, and get face time with industry folks at our career events. Finish the program and walk away with a $1,000 stipend.
